This story is about a group of boys who play together but the narrator isn’t really friends with he just hangs out even when two of the boys get assaulted for their bikes he still does nothing to help them out.

The difference between the narrator’s neighborhood and the Italian neighborhood that they played in was that everything in Flushing things looked good in a distance but up close you could see the murky grey insides.

The boys are generally good kids they played, and run around like any other bunch of ten year olds.

The majority of the boys are good friends the two new boys are Jung’s friends and the narrator really isn’t friends with any one of them he just hangs out.

The reason why the narrator isn’t good friends with the other boys is he thinks that as soon as you stop talking to one boy another will just come along.

This proves that the narrator isn’t good friends with the rest of the boys because he doesn’t care if any of the others stop talking to him.

When the two boys got jumped for their bikes the narrator did not do the right thing because even if they weren’t his friends he could’ve at least call for help.

If I had been in the narrators position I would ran to call for help or at least yelled out cops to maybe scare the assailants away because that would’ve been the right thing to do.

European Reading:

The title of the reading is History of San Diego. The name of the author is William E. Smythe The reading is about the Native Americans who inhabited San Diego back before the pilgrims. The author’s point of view tells me that he thought that the Native Americans that were here before us were neither noble nor brave. No one ever called the San Diego Indian “the noble red man,” for he was neither noble nor red. This reading tells ms that the Europeans never thought much of the Native Americans who roamed the west coast. There were no orators among them and, it is to be feared, very few brave men, for when they fought they acted like a pack of cowards.

 Native American Reading:

“A small island came floating in”

Josaih Jeremy About a girl who has a vision from the future come to her in a dream and the next morning coming to pass. The elders get mad at her because the vision came to her and not to one of the necromancers. That its not the women who should be blessed with these vision but the men, which leads me to believe that they don’t think women are as important as men. Some of them, especially the necromancers, were displeased; they did not like it that the coming of foreigners should have been intimated to this young girl, and not to them…”They thought that the men were the ones who had all the power in the tribes and if any women had something that the men did not they were discriminated against. Some of them, especially the necromancers, were displeased; they did not like it that the coming of foreigners should have been intimated to this young girl, and not to them…”

I think the world was created by God and he created everything that we have now. I know this because it is said so in the bible. I also think God created both men and women to roam the earth. It does not really matter how it was created because what matters is that we are here and live life.

The Native American creation stories have many things in common with my opinion. One of the things similar is that there needed to be human beings to rule and populate the world. Also people were created so that they can praise their god or gods. For example in the Mayan creation story Tepeu and Gucumatz, the creator and god of the Mayan culture, decide to form humans to praise them. Though these stories may be similar they are also different in some ways. One of the ways they are different is how humans are formed in the Norse creation story it is said that the god Odin formed a man and a women out two trees that he found, whereas in the Chinese story they are created of out mud. These Native American stories tell us that people who believe in them are very religious and believe strongly in their gods because they gave them life.

I think The Native American creation stories can be true because we do not really know how the earth was created or have any prove to say otherwise. So I think the can be true and depends on what you want to believe. It is not possible to say any of these stories are true because there is no scientific proof that explains that there are true. Nobody really knows the truth about how the Earth was really created. I cannot say that what I believe is more correct than any of these other stories because it is not yet known how the earth was really created. It may or may not be true but it is one’s decision in what to believe.
